You’ll get a quote. If the price works for you, I’ll pick a spot in Arlington to meet (usually a Starbucks, Whole Foods, or police station).
I’ll inspect the camera. This usually takes 3-10 minutes. Then I pay you on the spot (cash, Venmo, Paypal, Zelle).

Most meet-up locations are in Arlington, VA. Starbucks. Whole Foods. Compass Coffee. Police station if meeting a stranger with cash makes you want backup.
My beagle Bishop joins sometimes. He’s a beagle, so a Whole Foods parking lot might as well be the Maldives.
Every once in a while, I do make exceptions and drive outside the city if my appointment schedule is more free.

With online shops like KEH or MPB, you ship your camera then wait weeks for them to inspect it and get your cash
That’s assuming they don’t change the quote after taking your camera hostage.
Plus you don’t have to deal with those people on Facebook Marketplace. You know, the ones that lowball your offer, ghost your meetups, or try to scam you.
