WHAT CAMERAS AND GEAR I BUY
DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, compact cameras, lenses, flashes, tripods, full kits…basically if it shoots photos, there’s a good chance I want it.
Sony, Canon, Nikon, Fuji, Panasonic, Leica. Primes, zooms, vintage glass. All of it.
Not sure what you got? Text me a photo. I’ll tell you in minutes.
Here's How It Works
Step 1: Text me what you got
Send me the model and a photo of your camera. Don’t know the specs? Just send a photo. I’ll figure it out.
Step 2: Get a same day quote
You’ll get a quote. If the price works for you, I’ll pick a spot in Arlington to meet (usually a Starbucks, Whole Foods, or police station).
Step 3: Get Paid On the Spot
I’ll inspect the camera. This usually takes 3-10 minutes. Then I pay you on the spot (cash, Venmo, Paypal, Zelle).
HOW TO GET THE BEST OFFER
Bring everything that came with it: lenses, batteries, charger, original box if you’ve still got it.
Wipe down obvious dust or smudges.
And just be upfront about any issues. I’m not going to walk away over a scuff. Honestly, I’ve bought gear in far worse shape than yours probably is.
WHERE WE MEET
Starbucks. Whole Foods. Compass Coffee. Police station if meeting a stranger with cash makes you want backup.
Most locations are in Arlington, VA.
Sometimes I do make exceptions and drive outside the city if my appointment schedule is more free.
I’ll confirm the exact spot once you’ve accepted the quote.
COMMON QUESTIONS
A lot of times, people will come to me with something like, "I bought this camera for $1,000 so I'm lookin' to get $950."
Or "But I barely used this camera!"
And just like a buying a new car, the value of your camera takes a big hit once it's used.
But no worries, I'll make a fair offer for you camera - especially compared to other local and online shops.
And if it's too low? Just say "no thanks!". There's no pressure.
Here are some things that affect the value of your camera:
- Are there scratches, cracks, or other damage?
- Is the shutter count high?
- Does it function and work properly?
Yep, I do buy some older Sony cameras but you'll usually get more bang for your buck if the camera is not older than 5 years.
And yes, I'll buy cameras with cracks, focusing issues, battery problems, you name it. I take these cameras and either fix 'em or sell 'em for parts.
Yep! We meet at coffee shops, grocery stores, or police stations during the day. That way you feel safe coming with your valuable camera and leaving with your wad of cash. The whole process takes about 10-15 minutes once we meet up.
WHY PEOPLE SELL THEIR CAMERA TO ME
Selling a camera just plain sucks.
Like Facebook Marketaplce – you spend 45 minutes writing a listing. Someone lowballs you. You renegotiate. They ask seventeen questions, disappear for four days, then resurface to ask for more photos. You relist. Finally someone says they’ll meet up.
Only to find that they never show up at the meetup spot.
And the online buyers like KEH or MPB? You ship your camera to a warehouse, wait a week for them to inspect it, and hope the quote they gave you is the same one they actually pay. Spoiler: it’s not always.
With me, you text the model and condition this morning and you could have cash in your hand before lunch. No listing. No shipping.
Just a fast quote and a quick meetup somewhere public in Arlington.

Ex is prompt, professional, and kind. He reached back out within minutes! We met locally to sign documents and drop off the devices. It was a smooth process and I appreciate his business! I will definitely refer anyone to him.

One of the best buyers I’ve dealt with. Quick, professional, and very fair. If you’re selling electronics, this is the person to go to!
